76th Founding Anniversary of Pagadian City (gcc/cal/vav)

Over 150 contingents composed of national government agencies, city officials and employees, barangay officials, academe, civic groups and organizations, etc. join the civic-military parade on Tuesday, March 26 around the city’s major thoroughfares. The parade is part of the week-long celebration of 76th Founding Anniversary of Pagadian .

Forum on Power Crisis in Pagadian (3/24/13)gcc

Co initiated the forum in a bid to find immediate solutions to the worsening power situation which has resulted to 7-8 daily power interruptions this city.

BJMP's launching of E-Dalaw project (3/12/13) gcc

The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Pagadian City Jail on Tuesday, March 12 launches e-Dalaw  project at Pagadian City Jail. The e-Dalaw system for electronic visit, the virtual jail visit program of the BJMP makes use of supervised internet video call allowing inmates to connect to their families locally or abroad and has proven effective in addressing communication concerns of inmates with their families.

The newly formed “Dream Chorale”,  with retired music supervisor Salud Bautista had its first performance by singing doxology and  Philippine national anthem during the launching of E-Dalaw project and inauguration of massage and barber shops on March 12, 2013. The choral group composed of 21 talented inmates of Pagadian City Jail.

Fire Prevention Month 2013 Kick Off Ceremony (gcc)

As it is customarily done, the Bureau of Fire Protection on Friday morning conducts motorcade around the city to jump-start the observance of the Fire Prevention Month.  City Fire Marshall F/Sr. Insp. Rheno Cimafranca leads the motorcade.





Ceremonial Turn over of Deed of Donation (gcc)

The city government represented by Mayor Samuel Co and the National Economic Development (NEDA) 9 represented by regional director Teresita Ramos on Thursday, February 28 held a ceremonial turn over of deed of donation of 3,490 square meters parcel of land.   The land will be used for the construction NEDA’s office building and other amenities at the Regional Center Site at Balintawak, Pagadian City.
