COVENANT SIGNING. Local politicians in Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur led by rival
candidates incumbent mayor Wilson Nandang of Liberal Party and challenger Vice Mayor Ukol Talumpa of
Nationalist People’s Coalition sign a peace covenant for a Secure and Fair
Elections (SAFE) 2013 at the municipal hall, Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur at 1pm
on April 7, 2013. The candidates vowed to comply with the covenant that they
will campaign on issue based and not political mudslinging.
