Zamboanga City Mayor Celso L. Lobregat led the tree planting at Cesar C. Climaco Freedom Park, Sitio Abong-Abong, Pasonanca, during the June 25 Philippine Arbor Day (PAD) observance. The tree planting activity was immediately followed with the tagging of metal plates of declared "Heritage & Century" trees. In Zamboanga, the PAD was highlighted with a city-wide celebration dubbed as "Arbor Day na Ciudad de Zamboanga". (jpa)
