As PIA9 advocates healthy kidney and a healthy lifestyle, it joins the celebration of Kidney Month (June) with this year's theme: "Malusog na Bato, 'yan ang Gusto Ko!" (maa)

Dr. Abutazil, a Nephrologist, said that to avoid kidney diseases one must avoid salty foods, those high in uric acid like sardines, nuts, and oily foods during his radio guesting at Radyo Natin, Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte. (maa)

In celebration with the Kidney Month, last June 25 this year the Phil. Information Agency of Region IX organized a radio guesting with Dr. Michael Abutazil, a Nephrologist from Zamboanga City to talk about matters relating to kidney at Radyo Natin, Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte.

Zamboanga City Mayor Celso L. Lobregat led the tree planting at Cesar C. Climaco Freedom Park, Sitio Abong-Abong, Pasonanca, during the June 25 Philippine Arbor Day (PAD) observance. The tree planting activity was immediately followed with the tagging of metal plates of declared "Heritage & Century" trees.
