Palad-Palad Festival street dancing competition in commemoration of the 45th Araw ng Bayog, Zamboanga del Sur May 8, 2012






Bayog mayor Leonardo Babasa Jr. on Tuesday, May 8 delivers his message during the grand finale of street dance competition dubbed “Palad-Palad festival”, a highlight of the town’s 45th founding anniversary  with the theme “Basura Atras, Bayog Abante sa Serbisyo ug Asenso, Abante Bayog”. Palad-Palad is a Subanen term which means "thanksgiving." It is a celebration of joy, peace and unity and thanksgiving for great and bountiful harvest, progress and developments and people's achievement. (gcc)
