Concelebrated Mass (gcc)

Bishop Emmanuel Cabajar of the Diocese of Pagadian presides the concelebrated Mass on the feast day of Sr. Sto. Niño at Wharf area, Pagadian City on June 19, 2013. 


Thousands of Catholic devotees carried icons in different sizes and dressed in colorful costumes to attend the concelebrated Mass held at wharf area on January 19, 2013.

Fluvial Procession (gcc)

(Front row, 3rd from left) Pagadian Bishop Most Rev. Emmanuel Cabajar leads the fluvial procession along the stretch of Yllana Bay in commemoration of the 39th Annual Parochial Fiesta on January 19, 2013. Hundreds of devotees expressed their faith through prayers, devotion and waving of flowers that manifested their being Catholics and their devotion to blessed image of Sr. Sto. Niño.

2013 Pasalamat Festival (gcc)

KAPATAGAN TOPS 2013 PASALAMAT FESTIVAL Kapagatan, Lanao del Norte contingent wins this year’s  Pasalamat festival open-invitational street dancing competition, besting 9 other contingents.  The grand champion received P500,000, while the first runner-up took P350,00, second runner-up received P200,000, third runner-up P100,000 and fourth runner-up received P50,000.00, respectively. 




Wearing colorful costumes, contingents perform in the major streets of Pagadian City during the ‘Pasalamat’, Pagadian’s top festival attraction in honor of Sto. Niño. Ten contingents from public secondary schools and LGUs in Zamboanga del Sur and Lanao del Norte joined the street dancing competition.

Creatures made of cardboard and pieces of wood are the props of contingents that participated  in the Pasalamat Festival.

Major streets in Pagadian City reverberated with sounds of drum-beatings and shouts of “Viva Señor Sto. Niño” as more than thousands of people took part in the popular festival over the weekend. The festival drew repeated applause and cheers from the audience at the final showdown held at the city gym.
